Today, Thursday, Dr. Lotfur Rehman Aftab, Director of Research at the National Institute of Higher Education, and Dr. Abdul Zahir Shakib, Director of the Afghan Academy of Sciences, met with a number of topics. Mr. Aftab briefed the President of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan on the research activities of the institute. He expressed hope that the beginning of bilateral cooperation will lead to credible and desirable research. Mr. Shakib later praised the activities of the National Institute of Higher Education and assured that in the not-too-distant future, they will sign a memorandum of understanding for scientific coordination and cooperation.
